With built-in cellular transmission capability, the CareSimple Remote Glucometer is shipped directly to your patients and pre-configured so that it works out-of-the-box immediately. This means there is no app pairing, WiFi or setup required.

How Much Training Is Required to Use the CareSimple Glucometer?

Although we recommend patients read through the user guide provided, the devices work like a standard glucose monitor that can be purchased in a pharmacy. The CareSimple device has a single-button design, standard form factor, and doesn’t require any setup and pairing.

How Does CareSimple’s Glucometer Differ from Other Bluetooth Devices?

Bluetooth devices need to be paired with an app, tablet or hub in order to transmit readings. CareSimple’s cellular RPM devices have a built-in SIM card and antenna, using cellular networks to securely transmit readings to the cloud and eliminating the technical pitfalls of BTLE/hub-based systems. For patients, including those with diabetes type 1, diabetes type 2, or with gestational diabetes, the result is an experience as simple as using the glucose monitor with nothing more required than taking readings daily or as needed. From there, the data is shared with their provider in near real-time so changes in blood sugar levels can be monitored and flagged and insulin doses can be adjusted as needed.

What Makes the CareSimple Glucometer Different from Other Glucose Monitoring Devices?

CareSimple was launched with the goal of making RPM simple enough for any patient regardless of age, condition or socioeconomic status, removing many of the technological challenges that can be associated with remote glucose monitoring.
