How Much Training Is Required to Use the CareSimple Pulse Oximeter?

We recommend patients read through the user guide provided. Nevertheless, the CareSimple pulse oximeter is easy-to-use and doesn’t have any complicated buttons. Patients only need to slip the device on their finger and save readings by using our patient application.

Why is CareSimple’s Remote Pulse Oximeter a Bluetooth device?

Every component of the CareSimple solution is held to high quality standards and goes through our ISO 13485-certified quality processes. As of now, there is no FDA-cleared cellular pulse oximeter that meets our standards, so pulse oximetry monitoring requires the use of a Bluetooth pulse oximeter paired with the CareSimple mobile app. The setup process is designed to be simple as the device can automatically connect with the patient app without having to initiate pairing. Combined with the app’s interactive step-by-step instructions, high-contrast scheme, large buttons, and WCAG compliance, the result is a patient experience that is accessible, safe and simple.

What Makes the CareSimple Pulse Oximetery Different from Other Pulse Oximetry Devices?

Nonin, the manufacturer of the CareSimple pulse oximeter, is often discussed as the “gold standard” in connected pulse oximeters, and represents a safe, accurate and simple way for patients to report pulse oximetry data from their home. Paired with the CareSimple RPM app, the data is wirelessly sent from a patient’s device directly to their health file for virtual review and monitoring by their physician. With that data, the care team can then remotely check on their condition and make decisions on how to provide the best care for them.

How Much Does the CareSimple Pulse Oximeter Cost?

The CareSimple’s Pulse Oximeter is offered as part of our RPM packages, and can be purchased upfront or bundled into the RPM service.  Contact [email protected] for a quote.

How Big Is the CareSimple Pulse Oximeter?

The CareSimple Pulse Oximeter is lightweight at 63 grams with batteries installed, making it easily portable and simple to handle. They are 46mm (1.81”) x 69mm (2.72”) x 31mm (1.22”) in dimension.
